The Speed Triple R gets a beauty treatment with new colours and a host of updates and upgrades.

Triumph Motorcycles, Britain’s top-selling large capacity bike brand, has given its high performance streetfighter, the Speed Triple R, a makeover.  The 2014 Speed Triple R facelift sees the addition of a matt finish Crystal White version to complement the current brooding Phantom Black model.

The new Speed Triple R’s radiator covers have been given a dramatic colour makeover and are now finished in Diablo Red to accentuate the bike’s striking looks. This styling is also carried over to the wheels which feature red pinstripes.

For 2014, riders will also benefit from a colour matched fly screen, belly pan and seat cowl as part of the latest specification, plus a sporty clear rear light unit and distinctive black exhaust heat shield.

The Speed Triple R is powered by the same characterful 133bhp, 1050cc, inline-three cylinder engine as the standard Speed Triple model, but enjoys a number of performance enhancements including Brembo monoblock brakes and Ohlins front and rear suspension.  The Hinckley streetfighter also comes with switchable ABS as part of the package.

The 2014 Speed Triple R is available now in UK dealers with an OTR price of £10,999.
