Alastair Seeley and Guy Martin occupied the top two positions on the time sheets after the first Supersport practice session at the North West 200.

Seeley took the only win last year in a rain hit affair onboard his GSX-R600, and the Tyco Suzuki rider will be looking to continue his winning run this weekend.

Guy Martin arrived at the North West after his win at the Cookstown 100, and will be hoping to challenge his teammate for the wins in the Supersport class.

Team Manager Philip Neill said, “It can be a bit of a nightmare having three guys to work with to be honest, and it’s a lot of work, but we make plans early on.

“Guy’s shown up at the last minute and it’s worked so far.

“We’ve learnt not to get stressed with Guy, he’s lucky he’s on the same make of bike, even though it’s a new GSX-R1000 this year.”
