JACK LILLEY EXPANDS INTO THE NORTH

Jack Lilley Jack Lilley Triumph yesterday successfully acquired North City Triumph in a deal that sees two of the strongest names in the UK Triumph network join forces.

Established in 1959, Jack Lilley Triumph has been a long standing partner of Triumph, taking on the franchise when Triumph recommenced operations back in 1990. Located in Ashford, Middlesex, the dedicated Triumph store is now in the hands of Dave Lilley, grandson of Jack Lilley, the original founder.

North City Triumph joined the Triumph family in 2005 and has grown to be one of Triumph’s biggest dealers, with their flag ship store located in Romford, Essex.

When Peter Smith of North City indicated he was looking to take a back seat after 40 years in the motor trade (seven with Triumph), it offered the perfect opportunity for Jack Lilley Triumph to expand.

Both Jack Lilley and North City have a great reputation for customer service, regularly winning manufacturer awards, and the two companies will be working closely together to ensure a seamless experience for customers.

The North City Triumph name will be retained as will all the existing staff, while Peter Smith will remain in place at Romford doing what he loves – talking Triumph and arranging RAT events – and helping ensure a smooth transition.
