Thousands of fans are expected to flock to Lincolnshire this August Bank Holiday

Boston’s Ben Wilson will be aiming to end the winning form of his title rivals this Bank Holiday weekend (25/26/27 August) when the Gearlink Kawasaki lines up for his home round of the Motorpoint British Supersport Championship protected by Datatag at Cadwell Park.

Jack Kennedy leads the standings by 9.5 points ahead of the eighth round of the championship for Mar-Train Yamaha but faces building opposition to maintain his advantage after sharing the wins with Australian Glen Richards last time out at Brands Hatch. The Smiths (Gloucester) Racing Triumph rider will also have his team-mate Billy McConnell to contend with as he bids to make amends for a crash at Brands Hatch.

Gearlink Kawasaki’s Wilson lies fourth in the standings and is yet to stand on the top step of the podium; he is hoping that his home round could be the turning point as he bids to close the gap in the standings.

Wilson said: “Cadwell Park is a big round for me, I always get a lot of support there and in my mind there is no other option but to win. It has been a tough season for me but we have all been working hard so hopefully this is where we can turn it around.”

Motorpoint British Supersport Championship protected by Datatag standings:
