Auto 66 opens the racing season at Cadwell Park with action on two wheels this March

High speed action on two wheels will get Cadwell Park’s 2013 season underway in style next month, with powerful bikes taking to the track. It’s the first opportunity for fans starved of motorsport over the winter to get a high-octane fix.

The two-wheeled brigade kick-start the season, with Auto 66 taking residence at the circuit on 23/24 March. The Yorkshire-based club has nurtured the careers of many British Champions, TT winners and World Champions including the legendary Barry Sheene and the Lincolnshire circuit has a reputation that makes it an essential stop on the route to stardom.

Ten classes of motorcycles will contest the weekend’s races, from 50cc race bikes to lightweight specials and the bigger-capacity machinery in the club’s Formula Libre category, where almost anything goes! There will also be races for the spectacular sidecars, which are sure to be highly entertaining around Cadwell Park’s many turns and the non-stop excitement that bike racing provides is the perfect antidote to the winter blues.

Tickets can be booked from just £10 in advance, with free entry for children aged 12 and under. For more information call 0843 453 9000 or visit www.cadwellpark.co.uk
