Bennetts Biking Dreams winner Daniel, had a surprise visit from John ‘Hopper’ Hopkins.

An 18-year-old John ‘Hopper’ Hopkins fan from Lincolnshire had his ultimate biking dream realised when he entered a national competition for motorcyclists. Daniel Renno of Stamford uploaded his dream to to say: ‘My biking dream is to own an Arai helmet.’

Daniel’s dream was selected by a panel of Bennetts biking Dreams judges for fulfilment. The UK’s No. 1 Bike Insurance Specialist, organised for Daniel and his fiancée, Michelle, to have a fully expensed hotel stay local to MotoDirect – the UK’s Arai distribution centre in Derbyshire. On arrival a helmet fitting specialist was on hand to provide safety advice and a full measurement service. Little did Daniel realise that Bennetts had also arranged for his biking hero – WSBK rider John Hopkins to meet him at the showroom. Hopper flew straight in from the German World Superbike round especially for this presentation. During the fitting service, Hopper was waiting in anticipation to surprise Daniel by walking up to him to sign his new Arai Quantam Flag helmet. Daniel’s reaction was captured on video, as he was speechless at standing side by side with Hopper – memories that will last a lifetime and a helmet to be proud of.

And this year, every dream entry has even more power and opportunity than before. For every dream uploaded to the new website, £1 will be donated to the newly established Bennetts Better Biking Fund.
